Private & Semi-Private

The private lesson is for the student that really wants to accelerate their learning and not be confined to the group pace. This is also the required lesson for all our younger students (8 and under) because at this age they are not as strong at paddling and because at the Maui Surf Academy safety first is our priority. We offer one on one detailed instruction to fast-track you to the next level. This lesson format is similar to the 2 hour group lesson where our instructors take you from the sand to the sea and cover all the fundamentals and is also the ideal setting to work on more advanced skills or for those who need more specialized attention. The lesson enables our instructors to give you more direct feedback to help you continuously catch waves and explore more of the surf break. We also offer the semi-private lesson which is the same format with 2 to 3 students per the one instructor. It's a great setting for a couple or small siblings.

Rate: $120 for 1 on 1

Rate: $ 180 for 2 students per instructor

Rate: $ 250 for 3 students per instructor
